Rude Health: Four Ways to Warm Up Your Autumn Menu

As the seasons change, customers start looking for comforting, warming drinks with a little more flavour. For cafés, coffee shops and food-to-go operators, seasonal drinks are a simple way to refresh the menu, encourage repeat visits and create opportunities for premium add-ons.

Rude Health has been creating delicious plant-based foods and drinks since 2005, with a focus on great taste, simple ingredients and serious pleasure. Its Barista range is designed specifically for coffees, matchas and hot chocolates, delivering a creamy, smooth texture that froths beautifully.

Available in Oat, Coconut, Soya and Almond, the range gives operators plenty of choice for creating plant-based drinks across the menu. All four Barista drinks are vegan, with selected varieties also listed as gluten free.

From indulgent hot chocolates to autumn-inspired coffees, here are four ways to give your drinks menu a seasonal twist.

Iced Bakewell Latte

Rude Health Almond Barista layered with vibrant raspberry purée, espresso, and a light almond cold foam—finished with a tart berry crunch.

Method

  1. Swirl 30ml of raspberry purée around the inside of a glass.
  2. Fill with ice and 200ml chilled Rude Health Almond Barista leaving space at the top.
  3. Add an espresso, top with almond cold foam, and garnish with freeze-dried raspberries.
  4. Cold Foam: Whisk chilled Almond Barista or use a cream whipper until airy, then pour on top.

Spiced Orange Hot Chocolate

Rude Health Soya Barista blended with rich hot chocolate, a hint of orange, and a touch of chilli for a warming, spiced twist.

Method

  1. Steam 200ml of Rude Health Soya Barista with hot chocolate powder, orange essence and chilli flakes.
  2. Strain into your favourite cup and finish with an extra sprinkle of chilli flakes, or if you’re feeling fancy, a dried orange slice.
  3. Spice not your thing? Swap the chilli for a pinch of sea salt instead

Tropical Bounty Latte

Rude Health Coconut Barista paired with a strong espresso to add a tropical twist to your morning coffee.

Method

  1. Pull a fresh espresso shot into your favourite mug.
  2. Steam 200ml of Rude Health Coconut Barista until silky and frothy and combine with the espresso.

Date & Oat Latte

Rude Health Oat Barista blended with sweet date purée and a double espresso, for a caramel-like autumnal hug in a mug.

Method

  1. Soak the 30g dates in 200ml hot water for 5 minutes, then blend to form a purée.
  2. Steam 200ml of Rude Health Oat Barista until it’s creamy and micro-foamed.
  3. Combine double espresso over the purée and pour the velvety oat milk over the date-sweetened espresso.
  4. Top with a dusting of cinnamon for a caramel-like delight.

Bring Seasonal Drinks to Your Menu

Seasonal drinks don't have to mean a completely new menu. By using versatile barista products alongside familiar flavours such as cinnamon, orange, raspberry, dates and chocolate, operators can create exciting drinks with minimal additional ingredients.

Whether you're serving a morning coffee, an afternoon treat or a post-lunch pick-me-up, Rude Health Barista drinks provide a versatile plant-based base for creative seasonal menus.
