We are looking for a Butcher to work in our Butchery team at our Tideswell depot.  You will be joining a highly skilled team who produce excellent cuts of meat for our range of customers.

The working hours are 08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday plus  overtime when required.

Duties includes:

  • Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications
  • Trim excess fat, gristle, and other undesirable parts from meat
  • Portion meat into appropriate sizes for packaging
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Butcher or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong knife skills and ability to handle sharp objects safely
  • Understanding of different cuts of meat and their uses
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
